Brothers Justin and Jon Rizzo are a musical songwriting duo from Kansas City, Missouri.
From their early childhood growing up in Buffalo, NY, music has been an integral part of their lives. Their journey into the world of music started in the halls of their local church, where they first discovered the profound impact of leading worship and reaching people through song.
This early exposure to music ignited a deep-seated love for storytelling through melodies and lyrics, guiding them to explore the vast landscape of musical theatre and film.
The brothers have since channeled their talents into the creation of two captivating musicals, "Between Two Worlds" and "Eden's Twilight," each a testament to their creative synergy and shared vision.
Jon brings his talent to the stage not only as a songwriter but also as an actor in the shows, adding depth and authenticity to their productions. Meanwhile, Justin extends his artistic vision beyond songwriting, as he directs and produces the shows through his production company, Firelight Creative.
The Rizzos' work reflects not just their musical prowess but their ability to weave complex narratives and emotions into songs that resonate with audiences far and wide. Eden’s Twilight
In a compelling continuation of an age-old story, Eden’s Twilight picks up where the biblical narrative of Adam and Eve left off, taking viewers on an emotional exploration of the angst experienced by the world’s first couple in the aftermath of their disobedience in the Garden of Eden. This musical stage film is the third produced by Justin Rizzo’s burgeoning studio, Firelight Creative, in as many years. The prolific songwriting duo of brothers Justin and Jon Rizzo, along with Chris Geil, delivers 17 original and moving songs. In addition to co-writing the score, Geil penned the original script, which delves into the relationship between Adam and Eve, and their desperation to return to the innocence they knew in Eden. Banished from the only home they have ever known, the two are forced to face the traumatic consequences of their sin. Feeling abandoned by God, can they trust their Creator to somehow eradicate the veil between them and the paradise for which they yearn?

Between Two Worlds
Inspired by the story of the Old Testament Prophet, Daniel, Between Two Worlds is the second of Justin Rizzo’s original musicals to become a stage film. Loosely based on the biblical account found in the book of Daniel, this fictionalized account tells of a time in history when technology and old-world values clashed as corrupt government leaders failed their people. Territory lines are redefined and loyalty is a thing of the past. Enter Daniel Abrams, a young man with a traditional upbringing and a respect for God and His laws. An energetic score of 21 original songs co-written by brothers Justin and Jon Rizzo, brings to life a creative script co-written by the pair, along with From Patmos collaborator, Alice Larson Scott. Facing the reality of imminent invasion from the rising city of Babylon and its sadistic ruler, Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel is forced to embrace the unknown and confront his doubts as he finds himself caught Between Two Worlds.
