From Patmos

I want to introduce you to one of Firelight Creative Production's stage films, From Patmos.

This original musical tells the story of the man who knew Jesus best during His life on earth, the Apostle Paul. I was honored to perform the role of Old John (that's me pictured above!) who shows up in a series of flashbacks to the Island of Patmos.

It was such a joy to write the show's 19-song musical score and the script was co-written by my good friends  Alice Larson Scott and Kelsey White.

When we heard the film was selected for Best Feature Film and nominated for Best Musical Score and Best Songwriter, the entire cast and crew was truly honored and humbled—because we put our whole hearts into its production, all for God's glory.

What I love about this production is that when you step into John’s story, you just might find your own story—the journey of taming and refining the human heart that comes through a relationship with the God who walked among us.

In fact, a few months after Patmos was released, a woman who came up to me with tears in her eyes. She said her husband gave his life to Jesus after watching our film.

Wow.

This is why Firelight Creative exists. I am praying and believing this man’s life change is just a downpayment on what God is going to do through every piece we creates.

I want to recommend you find out how God might meet you in our telling of the beloved disciple’s journey by listening to the soundtrack or watching the film. It's now available on DVD or on Spotify
